NYFW: Tracy Reese Spring/Summer 2013

I'm sure it has been a busy week for american fashion designer Tracy Reese. After the first lady Michelle Obama wowed the Democratic National Convention with one of her designs, the fashion industry has been buzzing.

For Spring/Summer 2013 Tracy Reese provided us with her signature feminine style with pops of color, embellishment, and fringes. The collection was filled with relaxed trouser, blazers, slouchy tops, and fun sundresses.

I'm personally a big fan of Tracy Reese and I enjoyed each piece of her collection in a different way. She always stays true. How about the accessories? I thought it brought out a little edge to the dolled up looks. Did you enjoy her designs? If you haven't seen the whole collection, view it here.

Minty Deals: Loafers for Less

I know I'm not the only one who loves a good loafer, but sometimes my taste is a little steep and I have to snap myself back into reality. I love shopping for designer items, but sometimes it is just not that necessary. Especially on a specific item that's on trend that you know you won't wear seven years from now. Do not get me wrong, I prefer quality over quantity nowadays but sometimes you just have to fulfill your taste buds. Here are a few comparison items for my budget friendly gals.

 Wine Taste

1. Lanvin Belgian Loafer

Beer Money

P.S. For those of you who don't understand the title above each of the loafers listed, it refers back to an old expression "wine taste, with beer money". But what I am trying to reiterate is that you can look like a million dollars on a budget. Thanks for stopping by my page!
