Mint Report: Custo Barcelona NYFW

I must say after working with Custo Barcelona during fashion week back in 2007 I was not familiar with the brand, but since my departure I've kept up with them. This brand might not appeal to everyone but that is what I love about it. Custo never changes what he is known for to fit into a box. It's always different with a mixture of prints, and fabrics. They're pieces from this collection that I absolutely love and feel like the designer in Custo has grown and some I'm not into and that's ok. But what about you...have you ever heard of Custo?

Mint Must Have: KENZO embroidery sweater

Some say the sweatshirt (jumper) is making a comeback, but I don't believe it ever left. If you've been trend watching during New Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 , I'm sure you have seen this eye catching KENZO embroidery sweater. It has been featured on fashionista's including Elena Perminova and Andy Torres. Design duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have re-released the Kenzo tiger at opening ceremony. You can get your here. 

NYFW: Tracy Reese Spring/Summer 2013

I'm sure it has been a busy week for american fashion designer Tracy Reese. After the first lady Michelle Obama wowed the Democratic National Convention with one of her designs, the fashion industry has been buzzing.

For Spring/Summer 2013 Tracy Reese provided us with her signature feminine style with pops of color, embellishment, and fringes. The collection was filled with relaxed trouser, blazers, slouchy tops, and fun sundresses.

I'm personally a big fan of Tracy Reese and I enjoyed each piece of her collection in a different way. She always stays true. How about the accessories? I thought it brought out a little edge to the dolled up looks. Did you enjoy her designs? If you haven't seen the whole collection, view it here.
