Minty Look: Miguel in Kenzo

 R&B sensation Miguel shared a pretty dope photo with us via his Instagram account @miguelunlimited.  The image was shot for the village voice recently, and boy do we love! The hood was designed by the eccentric brand Kenzo. Are you feeling it?

The first day of spring is tomorrow!! Woohoo! I think I'm more excited to wear bright colors and open toe shoes than anything! I know you're probably saying, "Gia you can wear that anytime, you live in Florida". But let me tell you honey, "It get's COLD". Any-who, while I was window shopping a few days ago I saw so many printed trousers on the store mannequins. This trend is perfect for Spring, from a pink, yellow, and purple mash-up to an simple black and white print can take you all through Spring right into summer. Check out a few ideas that can spice up your wardrobe.

Minty Report: Thom Browne Shows Us How it's Done

Do you remember that chic, well-cut checkered navy blue jacket that Michelle Obama wore to the Inauguration? That was designed by Thom Browne and now he's guiding the fellas on how to break the rules in menswear. Although I love women's wear, I respect and appreciate menswear entirely. I love a man in a well tailored suit. It adds sophistication weather you have a sleeve of tattoos or a scruffy beard. Thom has come a long way from the days of being an Armani salesman, proving that his designs are worthy. Minty Music: Fresh Track from Beyoncé

By now I'm sure you've seen the cover for Beyoncé's (@baddiebey) new single "Bow Down" and the title speaks for itself. It's an up-tempo track that features her Houston style, with rawness and confidence. I'm not sure if I'm feeling it yet, but I still stan for Bey. Accessories can make or break any outfit, but you should still try to keep it fun and trendy. If you're familiar with various fashion blogs, you've seen these three pieces.

Minty Report: The Kardashian's are in Deep ....

Well if you haven't noticed by the title of this post, the Kardashian sister's are in big trouble. If you haven't been keeping up with their make-up line, let me dish it to you. Kroma is a beauty line by Lee Tillett that has been in business since 2004. Recently the Kardashian sister's debuted a beauty line Khroma with a very similar name to Tillett's line. Following? Okay! So obviously a lawsuit was filed by Tillett, because she would lose sales because of the similarities. Well, it is now official that the Kardashian's can no longer use the name Khroma. According to the judge in this case, Tillett's beauty line will lose business opportunities, customers, and goodwill due to the name being so close.

Minty News: Ciara covers ANNEX Magazine

Ciara looks amazing on the cover of ANNEX Magazine. The black and white photos were taken by Bradford Rogne for the double cover issue. Earlier today Ciara's single Body Part from her upcoming album One Woman Army was released and so far she's doing great on the iTunes charts, but I'm still not interested. But I do love the magazine spread.

Minty Report: Kenzo PFW

Hey guys and gals! I hope you had an amazing weekend! Are you keeping up with the collections at Paris Fashion Week? I am! :) I have just recently become a fan of the Kenzo brand and they did not disappoint. Models graced the runway in printed suits, with almost a tribal feel. Also wearing mirrored sunglasses and metallic shoes to add pizzazz to the already loud clothing choices. But somehow, for me, it works! What do you all think?

Will this be the new sweatshirt that will have the street style mavens in a frenzy?

Minty Report: Balmain PFW

Hey guys and gals!! Yesterday I previewed the Balmain collection over at Style.com. The use of fabrication was very intricate and detailed with quilted leather and woven materials made to appear as diamond shapes and crystals. The collection was filled with exaggerated shoulders, cinched waist, and overly thigh-high boots. It was very clear that they wanted to accentuate the hour-glass shape of a women. What do you guys think of the Balmain runway show?
